==West towards [[Germany]]==
Hitching west east towards Germany is harder since there's no obvious place to start hitching. Probably the best is the from traffic light at the crossing of the Europaweg and the Sontweg(close to Ikea). There's a bus stop right after the traffic lights, so people can stop for you.
In weekends it is very hard to get to Germany this way. Instead hitch to [[Winschoten]] and try to get a hitch there, since a lot of Germans go shopping in Winschoten.
