Walk about 2km from the city centre on the ''Azelosestraat'' and later turn left towards ''Kluft'' to exit 29 on the [[A1(Netherlands)|A1]]. Here you'll find a good spot in both directions. The first on-ramp you'll encounter goes towards Deventer and Amsterdam, try to get a ride which will take you at least to the service station [[Struik]]. From here it will be easy to find rides deep into the Netherlands.
The second ramp takes you towards [[Enschede ]] and [[Hengelo]]. Ask carefully where the drivers are going, as this is the last exit before the junction ([[Knooppunt Buren]]) of the [[A1 (Netherlands)|A1]] and [[A35 (Netherlands)|A35]]. Like the spot described below, this is also a good option to take you towards [[Germany]] or at least further on the [[A1 (Netherlands)|A1]] towards [[Oldenzaal]].
