East towards the Panamericana Sur (1S)
There is actually only one spot from where you can hitchhike and that is the crossing of the coastal road with the Carretera a Paracas. Not a lot of traffic here but most cars passing by will give you a lift.
North towards Lima, Trujillo, Ecuador (Panamericana Sur, 1S)
Take a motortaxi or get to the Panamericana like described above. The crossing of the Carretera a Paracas and the Panamericana is the place to reach.
