==Hitching OutHitchhiking out =====Direction West===The [[Panamerican highway|Panamericana]] on the western end way out of [[Panama]] lies right next to ''El Chorillo'' which the west is the most dangerous part of the cityPanamerican Highway. It would be advisable to take a bus to past ''El Chorillo'' and then you are almost starts out at ''La the Puente de las Americas'', a meaningful place and then heads out. The best bet to start hitching on this large road is to go to the bus terminal in Panama city and catch an 80 cent bus to hitchLa Chorrera. ===Towards Colon===From ''Av 12/Santa Ana Park'' The Panamerican passes through this town and there you can catch will find 3 petrol stations in a bus row (they aren''Transistmica'' which leaves t literally right next to each other) on the city on right side of the road to . Apparently the third is the one where the most trucks stop off (don't ask why...). It's called 'ColonMileinio'. It's easier to talk to drivers than to thumb it, but both do work.
