Bus 1 stops out the front of the long distance Take bus station12, 14 or 8 from herethe centre to Strada Henri Coandă, McDonalds the last stop before the roundabout. The stop is just around named Sembraz. From the stop, walk to the cornerroundabout at the end of the street. There are also other buses as well though's an industrial building with an open gate right on the roundabout. You can stand there, and cars coming from the south going on the highway will have good opportunity to pull over. It took me 5 minutes. It's not only 1a very good spot, but hitchhiking west from Sibiu can be difficult.

The roundabout that is at the entrance of Parcul Industrial Selimbar. We followed this road for some time and then headed south across grassland.
