You can go there before from the bridge, there are a lot of cars on center with the way but it's quite impossible to take a lift here because they stop only for a second metrobus 160 (literaryC.C Bonaire direction) before a traffic light. I recommend you to cross the bridge and keep on walking until you see a petrol station or 170 (around 10 more minutes walkingEl Vedat direction)and stop at the Cami Nou busstop.

Can confirm, Manises is terrible to get out of. The A3 going west is enclosed by walls and other highways. There is a gas station, but only for the road back east.
If you need a shower, WC,... Go to El Pont (The Bridge). You can also reach El Pont (a.k.a. Nacional III, Área de servicio el Pont) by bus 260a or 260b from stop Àngel Guimerá in Valencia. This is a yellow bus run by [http://www.avmm.es/web/area-metropolitana-de-valencia/horarios-metrobus MetroBus] (not the same us the city buses) and will drop you right at the service fuel station. You can go there from the center with the metrobus 160 (C.C Bonaire direction) Bus 260A or 170 (el vedat direction) and stop at the Cami nou busstop. But as usual in spain we waited a lot 260B till Área De Servicio El Pont (4-5 hoursticket costs few euro) and had to argue with the drivers before they manadged to let us in.
