Thanks for your contribution to California, but some things to keep in mind here:

  1. Please don't write in first person on Hitchwiki. On a community-edited site like a wiki, it is not clear who "I" or "me" is. So, everything must be kept in a generalized, third-person tone. If you absolutely must write something under an "Experiences" section (which is rarely necessary), write in third person and link to your username.
  2. Don't write long stories about your trips. Articles just become a mess when someone puts their whole travelogue up there. It's best to limit your comments to generalities ("People were friendly", "Waiting times were fairly short", "I experienced X problem"). Also, don't report waiting times for specific spots on Hitchwiki, as those go on the Hitchwiki Maps overlay where everyone's waiting times can be averaged together.
