==== Option 1: ====A number of buses stop at the intersection of the Gold Coast Highway and Palm Beach Avenue. From there walk west up Palm Beach Ave, through three traffic circles, and the entrance to the M1 will lead south to your left. There is a shoulder a quarter of the way up the ramp, which is probably the best place to stand so you can get traffic coming both ways off Palm Beach Avenue, although cars turning left will only have a short time to see you.

==== Option 2: ====At the intersection of Ducat St with Kennedy Dr there is a BP gas station and a roundabout almost in front of it, that all cars going to M1 have to take. The exit of that roundabout to M1 is a good location, since there are good visibility and space for the cars to stop. Also, cars come slow because of the roundabout.
