Obviously, [[New Orleans.  People throw huge wads around here- they make a lot of money but they aren't rich because they blow it all drinking]], gambling, anyways, people who picked us up gave us all kinds of money just because we looked kinda hungry. Louisiana: as are unique and delicious food, eerie cypress swamps, accents of varying thickness, smokey jazz clubs, and thinly veiled racism all lend . Experiences seem to an interesting experience for the extreme budget traveler. People tell that people are friendly and rides will almost surely feed you, get you high, or give you some money.  Getting to New Orleans is no problem, but getting out can be tricky. Outside of the big cities stand on the interstate and look confused and desperate while still upbeat.
