I DON"T KNOW WHERE THIS FITS: I had a few hours to walk around town before leaving and randomly found a little corner called Frau Gerolds Garten, just south of the main train station. It's a little cafe/diner/boutique collective with seats and tables made out of pallets and old chairs. Great place to spend a few hours in the city while feeling like you're in grandma's garden drinking adult beverages.

Take S-Bahn S7 to Kemptthal (~25 minutes from the main station), then walk up the hill in the direction from where the train came from. After a 5 min walk, you should see a grassy hill on your right hand side. Walk to the top of the grassy hill and you will find a BP petrol station, a restaurant and a small COOP supermarket.
