Larisa is the capital of Thessaly region. Around the city you can find good spots to hitch out, as it is very near the national motorway that connects Athens and Thessaloniki. It get really hot in summer and really cold in winter. It rarely rains. The city is most probably famous for the nightlife, the shopping opportunities and its fountains. The river is situated next to Pineios river. You can find some parks to rest, especially around the river and near the train station.
