Take a bus no. 59 from center going to Zarya - заря (Заря) all the way until the last stop. There are other buses going to Zarya as well, just ask. When you arrive, walk 100 metres more and you can start hitching. It's not a brilliant place since it is a big 3-lane road but it is okay, cars do not go super fast.
