What it is better to use a sign to implicate direction Köln for north/east/southand Aachen for west If you don't need Köln inbetween there is Frechen Gasstation, from here you can ask to your specific direction. To get to the Hitch Hiking out point you need the Friedrich Ebert Platz traffic circle. You can reach it via Kölnerstraße or Euskirchenerstraße there you'll see a gas station, but you also can try a spot next to it, where cars can park, or a little further up the street, there is also a traffic light if you like this option.
