* North - which stands for Poznań, Szczecin, Gorzów Wielkopolski, Świebodzin
* South - which stands for Wrocław and south-east Poland
If you wanna go south, take the 0 bus (you can buy the ticket in the machine inside - it's very cheap) from the center (for example the railway station) to the south (both directions on the bus route from the center go south. The bus you want is labeled like Wrocław, most likely where you are heading. AVOID the bus that has "Botaniczny" as the final stop.) Go to the end of the city, then keep on walking (follow the signs "Wrocław") after 15 - 20 minutes of walking you will find the road going straight to Wrocław or to the motorway to south-east Poland , there is a great place to hitch - with a huge hard shoulder.
