Why doesnt hitchwiki work together with wikitravel? It seems to me senseless that there are two wiki sites with city-like pages. -- 11:03, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
:Practical answer: Wikitravel is owned and controlled by a company, they put ads on the site and you can't download the database dump(I've asked for this, even before Wikitravel was sold out to Internet Brands). This is quite different from [[Hitchwiki:How_we_want_to_keep_Hitchwiki|how we want to keep Hitchwiki]].:Content related answer: 1. I don't think Wikitravel would want to include extended information about hitchhike spots inside cities. 2.
