::Hitching through North Serbia was fairly easy and so friendly, even hitching at night (June 2008), we had fun in Vojvodina getting a ride quite quickly on the country road at night from one village to another. Then another day a straight ride to Beograd. But leaving Beograd to Nis has been a total failure, I tend to say it is quite impossible to leave that city unless someone does manage to put the details on how to get a transport to the Toll and start from there. Has anyone ever found a spot from Belgrade (without a map the one detailled is completely non-understandable [[User:Maplefanta|Maplefanta]] 00:16, 30 June 2008 (CEST)
::I've hitched three times through Serbia, and found it relatively hard. In this country I stop less cars, many of the cars that do stop have foreign instead of Serbian drivers, and that even 1 in 5 cars that do stop drive off again (after they find out I'm not speaking Serbo-Croatian?).
