Planning to go to Ninh Binh. We went to the toll, the staff let us in and we chatted with them, they were friendly. We told them we were hitchhiking but they didn’t quite understand what it meant and told us no car would take us for free. After some negotiations they let us try to hitch rides for a few minutes until a bus to Ninh Binh showed up and the toll staff literally forced us to hop in (we then had to pay for the bus…).
