::No, I don't know Altan? Regarding your contribution to Illinois: If you do morehitching in the US you will come to find that much of the law enforcement is clueless on hitchhiking laws. I added the actual definition of roadway to the Illinois page based on their statute book in chapter 95 so that there is no confusion. I have been told by police in almost every state I've been to at least once that it is illegal to hitchhike their whole state. If you stick to your guns and tell them you are going to continue hitchhiking because the "Definitions and General Provisions" subsection of their statute book clearly defines the word roadway as exclusive of the shoulder, they will leave you alone. Many of them will continue to threaten you, but none are allowed to actually arrest you.
