Ben Eppard is a writer, designer, and musician from Charlottesville, Virginia. In March 2014, he left his job as Director of Communications for Madison House, the student volunteer center at the University of Virginia, to work on a book about why people help people – especially when there is an assumed risk. He is currently chronicling his adventures on The Hitchhike Interviews.
