You can take bus no 11 from the center to the last station. Right at the bus station, there's an excellent place to hitchhike.
Update: In June 2015, my girlfriend and I Marion_and_John hitched there. Great spot ! Lots of space for cars to stop. Lots of traffic. We found a lift to Sibiu in 25'.
