This also works very good. Take metro to Slivnitsa and than bus 54. On third bus station go out and just near Lukoil petrol station is very good place to hitchhike(it is also bus station)
*Oct 2017 I tried the first option and I was very lucky to get a Turkish truck driver in 10 min till 140 km from Belgrade.
