I got almost immediate rides out of there on two separate occasions.
experience summer 2018 (updated November 2018): my friend and myself went there. The staff helped us write a sign in hangeul and we got a ride in 10 minutes. There were many cars offering us rides as the traffic is high and half of the people passing offered to take us. Note: '''the spot is so good that I suggest you refuse rides not going far enough''', many people go through this station and you can probably find a ride going directly to the city of your choice on this way. We went into a car that didn't go far enough and ended up on a tollgate less conveniently located to catch good rides. Regretted not being more selective.
