Because of it's extremely small size and with most of the area being the city zone of the towns [[Dogana]] and the [[City of San Marino]], hardly anyone would hitch-hike on the roads there: one can cross the whole country by foot within 2 hours. However, one might to think to hitch to Italy from there: there is a lot of traffic to [[Rimini]] from San Marino. Hitch-hiker [[User:Sigurdas|Sigurdas]] got a lift from San Marino to Italy within 15 minutes.
However, San Marino has a 8,9 km long highway which might be subject to be hitched, called the ''San Marino Highway'', or ''Superstrada''.
