Take bus number 23 from the central station in '''Rostock'''. Go out at exit ''Brinckmansdorf''. After 20m a ''Total'' service station is build for cars to fill up their petrol tanks. Behind this you find a traffic light directly in front of the ramp ''Rostock Süd'' to the [[A19 (Germany)|A19]] direction [[Berlin]] or [[A20 (Germany)|A20]] towards [[Hamburg]]. There seems to be enough space for cars to stop.
If going to Hamburg, one may use a sign reading "HH", otherwise most of the people who will stop are going to Berlin. Politely decline offers to take you to the A20 junction, as that is motorway and one is not permitted to walk on it.
