It's Hitching around the Queenstown area is really easy. Going intercity is easy, simply get to Frankton (which is a little difficult hitching out of Dunedin because on tiny locality where everything is within walking distance) stand by the way out of the city there aren't any good places highway you want to catch a ride (as there are no places travel down and go for cars to pull over)it. Also most of the traffic Being a major tourist spot and ultra-beautifull spot people in the city area isn't likely are usually good sprited and happy to be going very farhelp. The trick is {{IsIn|New Zealand}} === Helpful tips to get out around === The Mediterranean Market (5 minute walk from the centre of the main city area and on to the state highways where theretown in direction ''Arrowtown''s lots of space for ) has a driver to see fairly open dumpster policy. Just ask them and you can often get pretty good vegetables.  If you and pull over need to pick you do laundry just walk up. You could take a taxi to get out of the city but it'll cost between $20-30 dollars where Man Street meets Thompson Street (which would be more than half a place called deco backpackers is on the bus fair to get to whichever city you're heading towardscorner). If if you're traveling south coming up Man street just continue straight into what used to be a caravan park for 100 meters until you could take a bus get to Mosgiel the big Kitchen/Laundry etc house in the middle. Laundry is 1 dollar and simply walk to the highwayDryer is 1 dollar. It usually won't take more than 20-30 minutes to get a rideA pretty good deal in other words.
