There is an online community of hitchhikers where you can find rides from Prishtina towards other cities in Kosova, as well as Tirana (Albania) and Skopje (Macedonia). The community has more than 13k active members and this is a great chance to reserve a drive a day ahead. Many map resources have no idea about what Kosovo towns are. Google maps have complete coverage though. There is no tourist information office in Kosovo (or we failed to find one) but you can walk to the Grand Hotel (not far from the Stadium) and ask them for Kosovo/[[nomad:Pristina map - they give one for free. It is not perfect but at least you will have a clear map of the city center and a nice map of Kosovo, as well as some info about local sites.]] [[trash:Pristina]]

There's quite a lot of traffic on both roads but the spot on the new road is a lot easier for cars to stop. People on both roads will tell you to go to the other spot. *[[User:Antonopa|Antonopa]] (April 2017) Hitchhiked from here to Prizren, barely had time to put down my bag and hold up my sign before a car stopped. The first car that saw my sign stopped, took me all the way to prizren. Excellent spot.
*[[User:Janos|Janos]] (June 2018) Same here, took me like 5 minutes. One car also stopped to offer me a ride for 4 euro.
