Take the bus 6M (o,4 usd) from Avenida del Progreso in the direction to Catacaos, leave it in the roundabout in Panamericana. From there you can walk to Petroamerica Catacaos (gas station) and start your hitch. You can get a ride to the next toolboth and there long distance trips will be easier.
