Changes

Nuevo León is one of the states most affected by organized crime. Thousands of people have been killed here and in the neighbouring states during the war on and about drugs. When hitchhiking here you should be a lot more careful than in other parts of the country. Car theft (with the owner sitting inside) is very common. Nevertheless, travelling in Nuevo León in general is still possible, especially during the day.
