===North/South/West/East towards [[Lyon]], [[Paris]]===As you get out of the train station turn right and walk straight for at least 15 minutes until you arrive at this [[roundabout]]; do not go towards the highway because the [[police|cops]] are definitely going to stop you, instead go towards the ''route nationale'' where you can walk and choose which part you want to stop and [[hitchhikehitchhiking|hitch]].--I found that walking left from the station was the best bet, I walked until near the end of the town, where there is a small cinema. This is a good spot to hitch from for Chambery.
