Changes

[[Hitchhiking]] between Madrid and Barcelona is fairly easy. Go to [[Guadalajara]], you can go by train (cercanias) or by bus, it is 50 km away and costs 4 euros. Then take a bus to Taracena, it is a small village a few km from Guadalajara, from there you can get to a petrol station next to a bar restaurant, already on the highway towards Zaragoza and Barcelona.

If people are not going too far, try to get a lift to the next [[gas station]], 15 km away, much bigger and with many trucks.

San Fernando hitch point.

Attention: The San Fernando station is on the line towards Alcala de Henares or Guadalajara. Currently its served by local trains in the Atocha Renfe train station on platform 3.
