Another place to stand is just before A2- <li> New access lane Maastrichtof the A2-Randwyck. The location to stand is at the road Oeslingerbaan, motorway on the bridge over the A2junction Kruisdonk, just before near [[Rothem]]. Drivers can stop at the access lane, where you will find an empty area where on a car coming hard shoulder beside the driving lane. To get here from the west city you can easily stop. A sign is recommendedtake bus line 59 or 159 until busstop "Kruispunt" in Rothem, then walk south along Ambyerweg / cycling path for 500 meters.

It is also very well possible to use this spot to hitchhike towards <li> Just before A2-access lane Maastricht-Randwyck at the motorway [[Aachen]] and then road Oeslingerbaan, on to [[Cologne|Köln]] and furtherthe bridge over the A2.
