They will let you out directly on the Access to the highway. You Like you can try it directly see on the Map there or walk to is a street nextto the first gas station north of MalagaHighway which leads you in 1. Actually I tried 5 km to walk on the highway to the a gas station but on the way a car stoped and picked me up. I can't say if the petrol station is which should be good to hitchhike or not. Maybe you can access the station also by a road next to the highway - haven't checked thisfor hitchiking north.
