There is a good spot on Next to town Markuszów 2 km walk away you will find MOP Markuszów Południe rest stop. You can hitchike there by Aleja Warszawska. Take bus #18 or #20 and > road 874 > get off at the bus stop ''Skansen'' (#18 turns right before it stops). Hitch from the bus stop out at the main Markuszów > road. Both buses run from the ''Ogród Saski'' (Saxon Garden) close to the city centre. If you use a sign with ''Warszawa'' or ''Wa-wa'' you have a good chance of getting a direct lift.Cmentarna > turn left after highway

OUDE Dys rest stop on highway S12 / E379 (next to IKEA Lublin walk street Topolowa)  Upramp on Skryta / Ulica Polnocna district next to Mcdonalds, Puławska 40 (also look for better places around and post there pls)   Skansen bus station, you will meet mainly locals there now but it's on the way to the highway You can also walk for about 5 minutes in the direction of the highway and you'll find a lay-by. Cars go faster, but the visibility is good & there is plenty of space for cars to stop and it is obvious you are hitchhiking (as opposed to waiting for a bus). === North towards [[Białystok]] {{National Road Number Poland|19}} === From the center take bus 24 4 to the final stop called "''Elizówka-giełda"''. Where you get out is right next to a petrol station on the "motorway" national road 19 heading north. You Walk uphill from the bridge for a couple of hundred meters to where the terrain becomes flat and drivers can try asking see you. This is a good spot even at night (if you have reflective gear), since drivers have to slow down a bit and be cautious of a pedestrian crossing. If your driver is going only to the petrol stationnearby town of Lubartów, or immediately on get out at the roundabout before the other side beginning of the bridge there is a big place city, where cars can stop and you can hitch further on national road 19. If your driver is going only to the nearby town of Międzyrzec Podlaski, be careful of where you get out because the road briefly becomes like a motorway; ask the driver to leave you at the intersection with national road2, though they go pretty fastwhere you can walk a kilometre or two further north on national road 19 to where it is easy to hitchhike again.

*I've never hitched Note: If you come from there but i found this spot cycling around. It's on the Aleja Wincentego Witosa street.Take the bus #7Warsaw and your driver goes to Zamosc, 14Chelm or Ukraine, 21, 23, 28 or 55 and go to they will most likely use the final stop called "FELIN"ring road. Then go in direction it's better to the main road. You will find a bus stop stick to petrol stations on the main roadmotorway. Just before bus   Option 1 Oude Dys rest stop there are traffic lights so you can be easily spotted by drivers.

* From the main railway station or bus station you could also try to take a bus to Świdnik, a town nearby. Be careful and ask the driver if they go through "Kalinówka" and to leave you there, just before a turn OUDE Dys rest stop on highway S12 / E379 (next to Świdnik. * No good advice here. It  Option 2 Giod spot is quite difficult next to get out street crossing Witosa x Doświadczalna. The name of Lublin the bus stop is DOŚWIADCZALNA ([http://www.mpk.lublin.pl/?przy=2953]). Then go in this direction, because to the main road. You will find a bus stop on the main road. Just before bus stop there is no real bypass and many streets merge on to are traffic lights so you can be easily spotted by drivers.  Option 3 From the main one with two railway station or three lanes on which cars bus station you could also try to take a bus to Świdnik, a town nearby. Be careful and ask the driver if they go quite fast through "Kalinówka" and to leave you there rarely , just before a turn to Świdnik. It is any not an excellent place because of two lanes and speeding cars, but there are traffic lights and a lot of space to stop. If  === South, towards [[Rzeszów]] {{National Road Number Poland|19}} ===From city center take any bus going towards final stop called "Węglin" ( 10, 14, 26, 38, 78, 85, 151, 153, 154, 161 ). From this stop walk little bit further in direction of traffic lights. Just after you are passing through from Warsawpass them there's bus stop.
