'''Kulob ''' is a small town in the Khatlon province of [[Tajikistan]]. All trucks from between Dushanbe and the Pamirs and back pass through Kulob, taking the low road. (The other route between the Pamirs and Dushanbe, the M41, goes through high mountain passes and is mostly traveled by jeeps.)
