It's changes often by the massive constractions but in general, choose your next destination and ask local where the best spot to hitch out. the following is list of spots based on the direction:

1== MAIN Junction to get out: =="Hayeziaa Me'A'ir"- The enternace of the city, called as well Ginot Sacharov. You can either take service taxi ("Sheirut"[https://goo.gl/maps/i8hDtLdz8tu Google street view]) Number 361 road, the huge Trempiyada that close to the CBS. it's the road to Tel Aviv, Haifa and all Gush Dan, and the way to the states highways- 2, 6.. If you come from Damascus gate of city center, you walk through tram lines to the old cityugly bridge, in and down the direction of [[Abu Dis]]bridge you continue straight.you will see 2 crossroads and on your right will be to petrols stations- yellow one and one call Sonol. Keep staright. you will see huge place to stand, a ride bus statins and often tons of 5 NIS onlypeople that hitch hike too. Go down in Maale Adumin junction find your spot and continune hitchiking weststand. Most likely you will see other hitchhikers standing there too. If you take this ride you get directly bored or want to road #1burn some time, just behind you there is an old Arab village (Lifta), which was deserted in 1948. Go down the stairs and find your way to the local spring. Although basicly from which this spot people go to all the country, not many people stop, and you need to continue hitchiking westwards towards may stuck inside all the Deas Sea traffic jams. So if you want easyer, beautyer and Jordanoften shorter way to south or north, use another way.

2Hitch hike to Tel Aviv on road 443: You can stand at French Hill just in the other side of the tram of Givat Hamivtar. Or take buses 25This is not the best spot to hitch towards Tel Aviv - use it only if you hitched here from the Dead Sea, 4 northern Israel or 4A from the West Jerusalem bank, and you wish to get continue to Har Ha'tsofim Junction, (French Hill)Tel Aviv. The place On the other side of the big intersection there is usually crowded with hitchhikersa smaller bus stop. Cars that pass here might be going into Jerusalem, or towards Tel Aviv through highway 1 or highway 443, so a sign here can be a big help. There are no good places to stop on highway 1 except the Hemed station and drivers stop oftenLatrun intersection. It’s better to wait for a direct ride. Most likely they will go only half ways, in which case If you should ask to go down in can get a ride part of the entry junction way on highway 443, to their settlementModiin for example, and continue hitchhiking from the that is much better, because there are bus stationstops in almost every intersection on that road.

If you destination Jerusalem locate, geographicly in the excat center of Israel, which explaines why to hitch hike to nirth and south is [[Jordan]]the same spot. for years, the best way was through the Trempiyada in French hill, but roads changed and assuming you have a foreign people barely stop there nowdays .(Non-Israeli2018) passport, you can continue Currently spot is the station to Maa'le Adumim that close to Jordan through the Allenby Bridge border terminalHebrew Uni. From Road 1city center- take the tram to Ammunition Hill, ''or'' you can hitchike hitchhike from in front the Damascus gate (sounds strange, but worked numerous times: 10 mins, 5 mins). Get down, cross the road to Jericho (Search for the Palestinian green license plate) right, you can see huge white stutue on your left. Keep it on your left. and from start walk, You will walk like 15 minutes. Than you will see station that have many buses that stop. Check if it's written that there take is a bus that go to Kfar Adumim. if the answer iis yes- than you are in the right staation. Take a lift to Kfar Adumim (or hitchike out of further) you will pass Maale Adumim, and Mishor Adumim. when you get down, you will see that you are in road 1#. all the western exit of lifts good for you, try to get to Bet Haarava junction, where road 1 meets highway 90, which can take you north towards Beit She'an, Tiberias and generally northern Israel (serving also Allenby border crossing and Sheikh Hussein border crossing to Amman) and south towards the cityDead Sea and Eilat. Your other option is So if you need to hitchike get to the Dead Sea and your ride goes to northern Israel (BeitShe'an, Tiberias etc.) or vice versa, get off at the last junction before Beit HaArava -HaArava at Almog junction. Almog junctionfunctions as a refreshment stop, so kiosks, mini-market and from there stand and hitchike northwards(free) toilets are available here, so that's the next turn right best way to hitch another ride. Beware! this is to the Allenby border crossing (you can walk it from the main road)a desert area, so being near a refreshment stop helps.

===To [[Eilat]], [[Aqaba]] ([[Jordan]])the west bank- north area: Binyamin and Samaria sttelments, [[Taba]] ([[Egypt]])=Nablus and cet: ==Follow the direction to go to the [[Dead Sea]], but continue south on [[Highway 90 (Israel)|Highway 90]] until its end. From there you can continue east towards [[Jordan]], or south towards [[Egypt]].

Nowdays the Trempiyada is in Hizma Junction. take the tram to Sayert Duchifat (almost last station), get down and take the main bus crossroad to your right. there is a station , not so good spot but for lazy people you can hitch hike there insted of walk 20 minutes down in Jerusalemthe road to Hizma junction. Go on walking further on Jaffa roadevery lift is good to Hizma Junction, till and sometime you will get lift straight to the main junction where your destination. Hizma Junction is a soldiers checkpoint, you will see many people standing there. Sign can see help and watch the "Begin" highwayque. The people that stop will be 90% of the time religius setllers, so if you want to go on walking straight to Rammalla cheeck where excatly you need to get down to coninue, and pass this junctionbe aware that people will not like the idea you go there, and on your right (after the petrol station) can't give you will see a bus stationride straight to there, due the best spot to hitchikepolitics issues. Most likely You can hitch from the same place towards Ramallah (and from there you will see can reach Nablus and other hitchikers Palestinian cities). Be advised that if you’re standing in this stop with a sign that says “Ramallah” on it, it's quite possible people are going to look at you like you’re crazy, and might try to convince you not to go there too, that it’s dangerous, etc. If It's almost secret but you get bored or want can even hitch hike to burn some timeNetania, Tel Aviv, just behind Haifa from this stop if you there is an ancient Palestinian village heading to Samaria (Liftathrough 60 road, 5, 6)but it longer and you will need many lifts. Rides from here are available to the Ramallah area ([[Ramallah]], [[Ofra]], which was deserted etc.) As well as further in 1948, towards [[Nablus]], via "Tapuach Junction" ([[Ariel]], [[Salfit]], [[Buddya]] etc. )The buses to this area are really cheap (sometime 3 shekels!) so check where you need exactly to go down the stairs and find your way to the local springtime- maybe bus is better..

===To [[Tiberias]] and the [[Golan Heights]]===Your first goal is the Beit HaArava Junction, which connects Highway 1 going west from Jerusalembank- south- Gush Ezyon, to Highway 90Hebron, which goes north to the Kinneret. Beer Sheva ==

From Same rules about the city center you have two options:[[west bank]] section.

1. 2. Or To Tekoa (Gush Ezyon) : take buses 25, 4 or 4A from West Jerusalem to get the bus to Har Ha'tsofim Junction, Homa (French HillHomat Shmuel)74, 75. Get down in Shmuel Meir-Kvish 378. The place is usually crowded with hitchhikersIt's the same way to Bet Lechem, but Israelies car not aloud to go there, and drivers stop oftenarabs not aloud to do the way around. Most likely they will go A bus ride to Bethlehem only half wayscosts 8 NIS, consider using the bus. Bus #231 or #234 can be taken from the bus terminal in which case you should ask to go down in front of Damscus gate of the entry junction Old City of Jerusalem. You can hitch a ride to their settlement, [[Gush Etzion Junction]] and continue hitchhiking from there to most of the bus stationvillages in Gush Etzion or on to Hebron and Kiryat Arba.

===To [[Rammallah]]Though, [[Samaria]] (near North)===Take a city bus (25, 4, or 4a) to the [[Har Ha'tzofim Junction]] and stand there. Rides from here are available get to the Ramallah area ([[Ramallah]]Hebron or Kiryat Arba, [[Ofra]], [[Beit El]], etcthere is a bus #381 which costs just 8.) As well as further in, towards [[Nablus]], via "Tapuach Junction" ([[Ariel]], [[Salfit]] [[Kedumim]], [[Buddya]] etc1 NIS.)

===To [[Betlehem]], [[Judea]] (near South)===Take You can consider to walk instead of HH. Jerusalem to Bethlem is just 8 km. I've done it in less than 2 hours walking slow and take my time. The view is not the #31 bus to Giloh (best but if you arrive walking you'll have will able to ask people how see the big wall which it separetes Israel to get the West Bank. You have to take the ''trempiada'')entrance for tourists,very fast, few people pass there. The palestinian pass by another gate. From there Above all you can hitch rides to [[Betlehem]] will see the wall and[[Gush Etzion]] areas,([[Efrat]], [[Betlehem]], [[Alon Shvut]]), etc, as well as further south, to read the [[Hebron]] area different stories of [[Hebron]]the palestinian during the occupation and you will see many grafitti on the wall, [[Kiryat Arba]], [[Tarqumia]], [[Yatta]], etcsome of them were made by Bansky. To get Bansky's graffitti are spread around Jerusalem but if you go to the latter area, however, it is better center the (annoyng) taxies will take you to hitch a ridge tour to [[Gush Etzion Junction]], and try from theresee Bansky's graffiti.
