With HPOV we've got the potential to really make effective use of this wiki and create a guide that's unique in every way, and more interesting to read.
==Personal stories==
Personal stories can be very illustrative of the hitchhiking situation in a place. So this is definitely allowed. But it should be in a different style, clearly seperated from the rest of the article.
:''If so, what is a hitchhiker, and what is the hitchhikers point of view? If a non-hitchhiker wanted to hitchhike out of town, what would be his or her point of view?''
A hitchhiker is someone who hitchhikes. Anybody is welcome to hitchhike. The hitchhiker's point of view is one from standing on the side of the road or at a gas station and asking for a ride. Or someone who is interested in doing this and looking for more information about how, where, what, who, whatever.
If there is point-of-view information, you can use <nowiki>~~~</nowiki>. E.g. "[[User:Guaka|Guaka]]<small>[[User talk:Guaka|Talk]][http://www1.couchsurfing.com/guaka CS]</small> waited less than 5 minutes on this spot."
It's also great to add pictures of yourself hitchhiking.
