You can now embed parts of [[Liftershaltehttp://hitchwiki.org/maps/ hitchwiki.info]org/maps/] into articles on hitchwiki. It's quite simple: * Go to [http://wwwhitchwiki.liftershalteorg/maps/ hitchwiki.infoorg/maps/], zoom to the place you want to embed and if you want, add some markers.* Click on ''link here'' in the gray bar on box to the topleft.* There is a A tag for hitchwiki will show up ("To include in hitchwiki.org:"). Just copy&paste it this string (
<nowiki></nowiki>
) to your article.
* '''Note that this feature works only for users with javascript enabled browsers.'''

There are some more parameters, that you can add:
*
float='right'To
to put in on the right of the page. *
width='200'
or
height='300'To
to change the size. *
view='3''Note
defines the source of map:** "0" sets the standard Google Maps view** "1" the satellite view** "2" the satellite view including the map material** "3" sets the [http://www.openstreetmap.org OpenStreetMap] material on first place.*
country='United Kingdom'' At
shows all the tips from the moment you can only add one hitchwiki map per articleof the specified country. I am going to fix that soonOften, there are more tips than without adding this parameter.
