Use highways 6 Hitch or 35. However, if you are not a hardcore hitchhiker or don't want to get stuck in nowhere at night, take a bus to Jerusalem (2 EUR8.1 NIS), then hitch in the famous begin north trempiyada(See more details on [[Jerusalem]] page). ItThat's a much easier way back to Tel Aviv.
