There might be some good spots in or near Cheb to hitchhike, but the best thing to do (in my experience) is to take the train out of the city. There is a direct trainline to Prague (it will take 4 hours) for 400 krones. The city of Cheb is filled with prostitutes, and guys who are trying to take you into an Penzion. DONT ENTER! They will most likely scam you
