We have a location: Sines!
It will be held in [https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Sines,_Portugal[Sines]], 160 kilometers South of Lisbon, on the 6th of August 2010, lasting for three days.
This year we have a great free camping place in the town-center of Sines, in the Parque das Merendas with shade, free toilets, showers, water-supply and a beach only 10 minutes away! Check the[http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=37.9560577869415&lon=-8.8763952255249&zoom=16[exact locations]]. It is the spot with all the green, and the beach is further North from that point.

=== Things to think of when hitching in the heat General Advice ===
Choosing Portugal for our main destination is a challenge. It gets hot in Spain and Portugal. What are the things you need to think of?
* Always bring enough water bottles with you. In hot temperatures you need at least 2 to 4 liters a day.
* Take a hat, scarf or umbrella/parasol since shadow is often hard to find. Cover your skin.
* Take enough food for the day, as food at gas stations in Spain is very expensive
