==What is a Hitchgathering?==
The hitchgathering is an annual meet up where hithchikers, rubber tramps, train hoppers and wanderers from all walks of life come together to share stories, have a good time, and learn. Everyone is welcome! We also aim to promote a better view of travelers and our presence to the public. This year we also hope to have a variety of workshops where people can learn different trades that may be useful as a traveler. ===Workshops===
== Where is it?==
==When ==
Saturday, August 9th, 2014. Base camp set as early as midweek.

==Potential Issues==
Fire: Permits for above ground (stove fires) will be obtained from the National Forest service.

Illegal camping: It is technically illegal to camp on the river, but this shouldn't be much of a problem if we can remain semi-descreet and not allow fires and litter to get out of control.
