You take the bus (i took it very close to Lapa, 2.75 reals, 40min30min+-) to Santa Cruz(just ask some people where to take the bus, easy as bonjour), get off at the last stop of BR-101 where there is a very big supermarket called Extra, walk 200 meters down the road where there is a gasstation.
