Salekhard (Russian: Салехард) is a city in Russia. It is located on the latitude of the Arctic Circle, on the right bank of the Poluy River near its confluence with the Ob River. Salekhard is the administrative center of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

• The only road out of the city leads to the village of Aksarka. About halfway, a winter road heads south towards Nadym and Surgut, which is marked on OSM maps.

• Access to Salekhard is either by plane, by ferry from Labytnangi, or by boat along the Ob River.
