Kerch (Russian: Керчь) is a city in Ukraine, located in the east of Crimea.

Hitchhiking out

East towards Feodosiya, Simferopol

  • Take minibus 23 or 31 from the bus station to the corner of Chkalova Street and Kul-Obinskoye Highway. From there, walk 5 minutes by foot. Right after the beautiful Litvinsky Bridge, with statues of griffins, you can start hitchhiking.

West towards Krasnodar

  • The new Tavrida Highway (R260) bypasses the city from the south. Near the Southern railway station, there is a traffic police and weight inspection post on the highway. The nearest bus stop is "Verkhniy Solnechny" on Geroev Stalingrada Highway. However, you can reach this post only from the station side. All other directions are fenced off.
