Kamensk-Uralsky (Russian: Каменск-Уральский) is a city in Russia, a major industrial and cultural center of the Middle Urals. It is the third largest city in Sverdlovsk Oblast in terms of population and economic potential. Roads Seryov–Chelyabinsk and Yekaterinburg–Kurgan intersect here, and there is access to the Yekaterinburg–Tyumen highway.

Hitchhiking out
West towards Yekaterinburg via R354
- At the western end of the bypass, there is a large roundabout. Public transport does not go directly to the roundabout, but the "Kodinsky" stop on the Sverdlovsk railway is 2.5 km away. To leave the city, go via Lermontova street. Bus numbers 2 and 16 go the furthest along it. The stop at the intersection of Lermontova and Privolnaya is called "ZTO". The area around is industrial, in the Solnechny district. In the evening, it may feel unsafe to walk around Solnechny.
East towards Shadrinsk via R354
- The eastern access to the bypass is located beyond the village of Vodolazovo. No public transportation goes here! Bus number 15 turns off at the 108th kilometer of the highway, near a "memorial cross", which is 19 km before the interchange. Beyond that, only hitchhiking is possible.
South towards Ust-Bagaryak
- The Barabanovsky tract crosses the southern bypass via a roundabout. This road continues from Suvorova street in the Yuzhny district. Buses 5 and 14 go from the center to this district. Walk along Suvorova street to the south and hitchhike across from one of the gas stations.
Southwest towards Rybnikovskoye and the lakes
- Another route goes through the village of Brod. You can get to the village from the city center by bus 203. From the village to the bypass is another 3 km by foot or by a local hitch.
Northwest towards Klevakinskoye
- Bus number 12 to the stop "Sady".
