Bataysk (Russian: Батайск) is a satellite city of Rostov-on-Don. Hitchhikers often pass through the city when traveling by train from the south of Russia—keep in mind not all trains stop at Rostov-Glavny station. East on A135
- Walk east for about 2 km via the pedestrian overpass above the railway. First along Molokova Street through a private housing area, then through an apartment block neighborhood. You can hitch at the triangle near the entrance to 65G Vorovskogo Street.
- Take bus 6A to Leningradskaya Street, then walk to the highway near the "Yuzhny" water park. You can hitch either at the entrance to the hotel "Zhemchuzhnaya" or near the truck parking a bit further south.
