North towards San Rafael crossing Canon del Atuel
RP173 is finding itself with increasing popularity among tourists. The canyon can be crossed both ways on RP173, but due to traffic it is highly recommended downwards from south to north. Therefore, you first need to get to El Nihuil and try to get a hitch there back to San Rafael.
