Hitchhiking out
North towards Chebarkul via Verkhneuralsk Highway
- This regional road branches off from the bypass of Magnitogorsk at the Verkhneuralsk junction. Bus route 380 runs from the train station through the junction area, but there is no stop directly at the junction! If you don’t want to end up in the village of Rzhavka, ask the driver to drop you off wherever convenient. The previous stop is in the settlement of Primorsky.
Northeast towards Yuzhnouralsk and Chelyabinsk on R360
- The Chelyabinsk route connects with the Ring Road near the "Burannaya" station and the settlement of Buranny. You can reach it by minibus 147 from Pl. Pobedy. From the stop, walk 1 km forward to the junction. From the station, it’s 2 km.
- Much closer to the city on the Chelyabinsk route there is a police checkpoint near the Southern Cemetery. The closest stop is "Polya Orosheniya", served by buses 143 and 382, as well as minibus 147. It’s another 800 meters from the stop to the checkpoint.
Northwest towards Ufa and Sterlitamak by R316 (Beloretskoye Highway)
- You need to reach the Beloretsk junction on the bypass road. Public city transport does not reach the junction itself. The final stop on the Beloretskoye Highway is "Beryozovaya Rosha", where bus 30 and minibus 56 terminate. From there, you continue hitchhiking only.
- Just outside the bypass, near the Beloretskoye Highway, is the train station "Tashbulatovo".
South towards Sibay
- Leave through the village of Agapovka. It’s another 13 km to the end of the bypass, but you can start hitchhiking already on the outskirts of the village. Minibus 100 goes to Agapovka from the station, and bus 382 goes further to the next village, Narovchatka.
- Departure on the southwestern part of the Ring Road. Take bus 29 to the last stop. From there, walk 300 meters west along Zelenaya street until the turn south.
