Tenerife is an island, part of Canary Islands, Spain. Hitchhiking a boat is possible to get there. Also in Santa Cruz marina you can find boats for the transatlantic crossing.

Other useful info
- Hitching works very good.
- There is a nice highway leading around the island. Small transfer secured!
- Alot of foreigners and english speaking people.
- Highest mountain of Spain.
Sleep
- If you need to sleep close to the airport, you can sleep in the tunnel (https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=17/28.03812/-16.59201 - 2 km from the terminal). If it rains, sleep somewhere else if you don't want to get flushed :)
- Many hippies live in caves close to the sea and many caves are emtpy and clean enough to sleep. For example:
- Caves close to the "Piscinas Naturales Los Abrigos", just about 40 minute walking from the Airport.
- Caves in Adeje (here https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=17/28.10731/-16.76077)
