Clear Lake is a city in Iowa. It borders the larger Mason City to the east.
Hitchhiking out
North/South towards Minneapolis or Des Moines
On the eastern part of town lies interstate 35. Exit 194 has several amenities and is highway 18 that runs through Mason City and Britt
Rides north and south are noth hard to get from the on ramps, but in some cases may take more time than normal due to the city's residents being more affluent.
Long distance rides both to Minneapolis and Des Moines are fairly common.
